Our story
Built from the ground up.
GOAT Gardens started with one mower, a trailer and a handful of properties in Sydney's inner suburbs. What grew the business wasn't advertising — it was neighbours walking past a freshly finished hedge and asking who did it.
Today we run maintenance programs, hedging contracts and landscape builds across the Sydney metro area, with a crew trained in horticulture as well as machinery. We still take the same approach: understand the site, do the unglamorous prep properly, and hold the finish to a standard we'd want on our own place.
We're fully insured, we document our work, and we're straightforward to deal with. If something isn't right, we come back and fix it — that's the whole arrangement.

Turn up when we say we will
Scheduling is the first thing most gardeners get wrong. You'll get a confirmed arrival window the day before every visit, and a message if anything changes.
Cut for the plant, not the clock
Hard prune at the wrong time and a hedge takes two seasons to recover. We work to growth cycles, soil condition and aspect — not just what's quickest.
Finish is everything
Hand-edged borders, blown-down paths, clippings removed. The last ten minutes on site is what separates a professional job from a rushed one.
Be straight about price
Written, itemised quotes before we start. If something changes on site, you hear about it before the work happens, not on the invoice.
